Here are the simple and easy steps to earn cashback:

  3. Shop and pay on the retailer's site like you normally do.
  4. The retailer pays us a commission for your completed transaction. We pass that to you as 'Cashback'. Initially your cashback remains in 'Pending' status. Once the return period of your product is over and retailer has confirmed your transaction then status of your cashback becomes 'Confirmed'
  5. When you have earned a minimum of $20 as Payable Cashback, we can pay the money to your New Zealand account.
Your Cashback on completed transactions remains in 'Pending' status until the return period of the retailer is over which can be upto 30 days. After the return period is over, the retailer is invoiced for this commission which we provide you as Cashback. The retailer pays us in the next month's payment cycle, once we get the commission from the retailer, we confirm your Cashback immediately. This whole process may take anywhere between 6-12 weeks.
Pending: status means that your transaction has successfully been tracked by us.
Confirmed: retailers confirms the successful transactions, this means you can now withdraw your confirmed cashback using provided withdrawal option.
Declined: cashback status means that the cashback has been denied by the retailer.
Cashback maybe declined due to any of the following reasons:
  1. You didn't fulfill with the terms and conditions of the retailer and Kiwiwallet.co.nz.
  2. The purchase was not completed entirely online.
  3. The purchase was partially or fully returned, cancelled or the order was amended.
  4. The cookies were disabled on your browser at the time of transaction.
You can earn cashback from every retailer listed on Kiwiwallet.co.nz as many times as you want. Make sure you click through from Kiwiwallet.co.nz to the retailer's website and shop as normal, also follow the terms and conditions set by us and retailer.

As a registered Kiwiwallet.co.nz member you can earn cashback or cash reward for making a purchase from various retailers which are listed on our website. Kiwiwallet.co.nz can only provide cashback on legitimate, genuine and completed transactions which successfully tracked and verified by the retailer. Once your transaction is successfully tracked and verified by the retailer, we get a commission from the retailer and we pass on this commission in the form of cashback onto you.

The retailer holds sole discretion in determining the validity of the cashback transaction. We try our best to get your cashback from the retailer but cashback is not guaranteed. If the retailer does not pay us any commission for the transaction, we cannot pay any cashback for the same.

Once logged in successfully to Kiwiwallet.co.nz, you can view your cashback account summary in 'Overview ' tab. You can also view this information in 'My Wallet' tab including all payout history.
Payment of Cashback
Definitely NOT, this money belongs to you and you have all the rights to be paid. Even though if you are using our website frequently, the cashback account does not expire or become obsolete. Once you have a minimum of $20 as 'Payable' cashback, we can pay the money to your provided New Zealand bank account. To initiate the payment request, make sure you have a minimum $20 as 'Payable' cashback.

  • Cashback can be paid to you whenever you comply with below terms:

In order to request payment, login into your account. After successful logging, go to 'My Wallet' tab and click 'Redeem Now' button. Enter the amount you want to withdraw and your bank details.
We tend to deal all cashback withdrawal requests within 2 working days. Once your cashback withdrawal request is processed successfully, this payment should reach to your bank account within 4 working days depending upon your bank. Please not that cashback with status 'Pending' can't be paid until its status is updated as 'Confirmed' by the retailers.

Missing Cashback
In case of your cashback is not tracked all at or tracked incorrectly, it might have been caused due to below circumstances :
  1. You didn't fulfill with the terms and conditions of the retailer and Kiwiwallet.co.nz.
  2. The purchase was not completed entirely online.
  3. The purchase was partially or fully returned, cancelled or the order was amended.
  4. The cookies were disabled on your browser at the time of transaction.
In order to submit a ticket, you need: retailer name, date and time of the transaction, transaction amount, order or transaction reference, and any other details that would help the retailer to track your transaction.

Cashback enquiries can take between 1 week to 3 months to resolve. Rest assured we will try our level best to resolve your missing cashback query as soon as possible. Remember our incentives are aligned with yours, and we only earn when you get paid a cashback.
